Today was a fun day. Two friends from our church are having babies around the same time, so we had a shower for them. It was a nice shower, with such yummy food! These were on the table, I had to take a few pics of them. Very cute :)

As I was eating dinner tonight, I was looking out the window and saw the sun shinning through my bamboo plant. Had to grab my camera and this is what I caught :) I call it "Underneath the Bamboo Tree."

Today for lunch, my hubby wanted to take to this deli that he went to with some friends in Covina. This Italian market was AMAZING!! Now I know where to get all my ingredients for my special cookbook I have. The place is called Claros Market. They had some yummy garlic bread, grabbed some and made spaghetti tonight. YUM!!

Today was baking day. After working hard on my halloween costume, I was in the mood for chocolate chip cookies :) I added pecans to the batter..yum!!!

I've said it many times, but I love to cook. Since the weather here in California is cooling down (finally!), I have been looking at my recipes for warmer meals. Tonight's dinner--Beef Stroganoff. So good :) My favorite time of the year--fall which you can cook warmer meals and bake yummy goodies!

I had no idea what I was going to cook for dinner. I had chicken in the fridge and noticed there was a few potatoes. I made my own version of the KFC chicken bowls that I have seen commercials of.  I have never tried their version, but I LOVED mine. I cooked the chicken, made mash potatoes, added corn and I had cream cheese with chives (mixed that in the potatoes) and mixed it all together with a sprinkle of cheese...great comfort food for a nice cold day here in Cali.

My grandpa use to eat his food with the red pepper flakes. I do that on occasion, but tonight I had some yellow chilies and decided to spice up my dinner :) Tonight's chili was in honor of him...he loved spicin' up his food :) Miss you and love you Papa!!!

Decided that I waited long enough, and cut my pumpkin tonight. Last year I cut them too early, they were moldy 2 weeks before halloween. I will take a picture of my finish pumpkin tomorrow.

Years ago I was shopping with my Bestie Inger at Target. We would always shop the back of the aisles where they would have the clearance items. We found 4 of these pumpkin pillows for 3 bucks. They are my best find at Target and I love putting them out every year :)

YEARS ago I worked at Michael's arts and craft store. I loved working there and loved that I can buy stuff with my discount. I bought this candle and love to put it out every fall. I can't believe that I still have it! It's been about 14 years that I have had it! Amazing!  :) It's a log with leaves and acorns on it.

So today was cleaning day. I had this rocking chair on my patio and it so needed to go in the trash. My hubby threw it down from the patio off our bedroom and thought it landed great for me to take some pictures of it :)

My hubby for our anniversary got me these beautiful potted flowers.  The tag says they are Cyclamen and this type of color is "Laser." They started to open up, had to capture them :)

Last year I got pumpkins at a pumpkin patch and decided to cut them when I got home..around the same date. They got moldy real quick and had to throw them away before halloween. Yesterday I got a pumpkin at the store, and I'm going to wait to cut it later on :) 

I picked this one because it was really interesting to me...with it's green veins running through it. Very unique pumpkin :)
