Today I went to this place called Cafe Cola. It's in Azusa. My hubby said that they have fresh ingredients and great food, cook to order. He LOVED their cheesesteak, so I thought I would try it out. It was really good. The bread was great, meat, provolone cheese, onions and mushrooms. I know that it's not a "traditional" cheesesteak, but man was it good. They came with these tasty "fries" and I really loved the seasoning they put on them. I say "fries" because as you see in the pic they are more like potato wedges. If you are ever in Azusa look them up, it may take some time for your order to be ready, but it's so worth it. I will be going there some more. OH and hubby had their hamburger sliders, he LOVED them and next he wants to try their chicken sandwiches :)

My hubby and I have traveled all over California. When we first were starting out, we didn't have much money to do big trips. We have explored a lot of California (not all) and one of our favorite places is Monterey. We just love it there. Today's picture is a magnet I picked up from Monterey :) Now being married for (going on) 12 years, we have been able to travel over seas which has been a blessing :) We still like to take small trips around California, there are places we still would like to venture to. I'm hoping to do so soon!

My hubby had a long night of work...until 4am. He was already feeling sick with a sore throat, but today it's hurting more. I went to the store this morning to get the usuals: makings for soup, crackers, cough drops, orange juice, ginger ale...

I also wanted to get him a little something to make him smile. He doesn't really read magazines, or eat candy...so I saw these cute flowers. I know you usually don't get a guy flowers, but what else do you get a man who is sick at the grocery store?? Gum?? Nope I got him flowers. He really liked them and really liked the vase, it has this really neat design. He appreciated them and it made him smile, which was my goal :)

It's a beautiful day today. We got some good rain yesterday and it was lovely to see snow on the local mountains. I love seeing rain drops..hence the picture of the day :)

Like I said yesterday, I bought a planter of annuals. Today's picture is of the purple lettuce in my planter. I love the color of the lettuce, goes great with the annuals.

Today I decided to get out and went to the local Armstong. I really wanted to buy a lemon tree, but felt inspired to buy a mixed pot of annuals. They were on sale and I LOVE flowers of any kind. Today's picture is of my pot, I focused on the Pansies today.

We have a fun backyard. Up against a hill and we get all kinds of birds. I've been out of bird seed for a few weeks now, so yesterday I remembered to buy some. I have a bird feeder, but I love to put some on the ground in front of the glass slider so I can see them up close and try to take some photos of the them.  Today's picture is of the bird seed I lay on the ground :)

So I'm almost at the 6 month mark on this project. It's been a great adventure and I'm learning a lot about my camera, and really seeing the beauty in things, when I wouldn't even take a second look. I thank the Lord for the gift of sight and being able to enjoy His creation. This picture is of my plant from my very first photo, it's still going strong....

So I have to admit that I'm addicted to Pinterest. It's an amazing website that people can post how creative they are. There are all kinds of things on Pinterest. I love all the crafts, cooking, photography, and anything ideas. On Pinterest,  I stumbled upon quilling, and decided to try it with the paper I have. It's today's pic of the day. After I was working on my project, my kit came...I will start another project with the quilling paper and hoping to put it up here later on. :)

Had a fun day today! Spent time with the Besties---Inger & Phil played games at their new place and had yummy chic-fil-a for lunch!!

Instead of cooking tonight, we grabbed dinner at one of favorite places, Legends. My choice was the chicken club, which I love. Hubby got their salmon sandwich, which he loves :) My pic today is of my sandwich, if you are ever in Glendora, go to Legends, they have a huge variety of food there!

Hubby did a Trader Joe's run for me. He came home with this YUMMIEST fish I ever had. It was flounder with stuffed crab meat, and mozzarella cheese. It was sooooo good. We don't usually do resolutions, but we really want to start eating more healthy. Hence the fish for dinner, but this was a more of a cheat fish, since it had yumminess inside :)
